Terms of reference

The very first national reference framework for child and family assistance (CFA) aims to contribute to harmonizing the framework of intervention of professionals, by referring to the main principles as formulated in the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, by marking out reflective professional practices and by defining common evaluation criteria. It aims to ensure that each child, each young person and each family that needs it receives the best possible support, whether it be family assistance, psychological consultation, outpatient measures, socio-educational care, foster care, etc.

AEF Social Lab

The AEF Social Lab is a platform for exchange, innovation and co-creation whose mission is to frame the consultation process for the development of the national reference framework for child and family support (AEF). This initiative was launched by the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth. Over several months and through various activities, the multidisciplinary team of the AEF Social Lab gives the opportunity to all stakeholders (beneficiaries, providers, professionals) to be actively involved in this consultation process.
